Vintage carved stone Female Foo Dog. She is sitting on a platform over a carved bamboo forest sheltering carved deer with small white designs in them. Nice detail in this hand carved piece. This sat in Great Grandfathers library for as long as anyone can remember. The stone has a beautiful patina that invites touching I believe it is from the late 1800s- early 1900s from comparison with other statues.
